Our crew developed the file service Files–Upload.com on Adept platform. To my mind, the only defect at that moment was lack of any documentation on framework. Now the situation has changed. The full support of the project begins to appear (site, community, documentation).

What I like in Adept? Firstly, the component model is much more convenient and easier. Secondly, ORM – there are no difficulties with database while writing applications.

Though the project is young enough the developers corrected quickly the mistakes of framework which we founded while writing Files–Upload.com.

We use Adept Framework for Livents.ru development. It wasn’t the first version of Livents, therefore we gave proper attention to the choice of toolkit. The component architecture has approached for the construction of complex and rich interface. It is significant to note that an easy expansibility of components and widgets’ base helped us to build the structure of a base both from base and prepared blocks.

As lacks it is possible to note that at present the class Adept Orm doesn’t realize some functions necessary in applications with complex business-logic. But all these problems are disposable. It has been proved at realization of Livents.ru project.

In our opinion, now Adept platform is the most advanced product including all the modern technologies which allow reaching the purposes by a specified date.

The experience of Adept using has shown great prospects of the component approach and consequently frameworks based on it. The component is rather all-sufficient both in rendering and functionality that allow caching the results of work with high relevance. And the event-trigger approach allows reducing the dependence between components to a minimum.

Besides the component approach it’s significant to note valuable ORM with cache of persistent objects to which I haven’t seen analogies in PHP.

We decided to conduct the development of the losing weight’s program – fatburningtracker.com on given framework. And we weren’t disappointed with it. Our whimsical customer constantly makes new demands of web-service. And all problems come to the change of current modules and writing new ones.

Our service is easy extended owing to well-engineered Adept conception. A programmer can not understand how the project works as a whole, i.e. it’s not difficult for us to recruit new people. We use this platform also in other projects, e.g. bergdiets.com (online-shop), fbanalysis.com (test’s system), etc., where it makes a good showing.
